  • Adding and Removing Z-Wave DevicesInformation on adding and removing a Z-Wave device via the Z-Wave core legacy menu.
  • Adding a Z-Wave ControllerIn order to control Z-Wave devices, such as light switches, thermostats, door locks and sensors, they must be included into a Z-Wave “network”. Follow the steps below to add your Z-Wave controller and create a Z-Wave network.
  • Displaying Status of Two Sensors with One Icon (HS3)How-to display status of two sensors with one icon in HS3. Note: This will work in HS4 but the steps included graphics are inaccurate.
  • Erasing a Z-Wave ControllerThe erase operation deletes all Z-Wave information from your controller. It also removes the Z-Wave node ID from all of your existing Z-Wave devices. After this procedure, your devices will no longer function. You will need to re-add your devices. If you plan on restoring your Z-Wave node information from a backup file, use the "Restore a Network to this Interface option".
  • Importing Z-Wave DevicesImporting devices will pull the Z-Wave devices from your interface into your Devices page. This can be useful if your system stops working and you do not have a backup, or if you are using an Aeon Labs Z-Stick to add devices that live far away from your HomeSeer system.
